Life is all but a series of  mistakes and miracles 

I have had my fair share of both

For the past three years 

Drowning in Self Doubt

Pestered by fear and made Procrastination my friend 

However, Hope and Faith kept visiting

Two beautiful reminders of Life's promise

Of joy, strength and courage 

They illuminated parts of my soul 

that thrived in darkness 

They saved me from my negative thoughts 

The Year is 2018 and I cannot wait to share

how, in the end, it was Words that saved me 

and healed pieces of my soul i didn't know needed repair

A Prayer for you

God will grant you the strength and courage to face your demons.
You will survive the pain, the anger and the resentment
What you are going through is only temporary

Dear Friend, invite God into your life
to cover the nakedness of your soul
to guard and guide you in your life's journey
to strike away the fear and confusion
that cripple you from achieving your dreams.

Every day is an opportunity to learn
to grow
to heal parts of your soul
Do not crumble alone, call out His name
and He will save you.

Remember God is never too tired or too busy to save your from your Darkness.

Save yourself from the darkness 

the faceless demon that eats away at your youth 

it creeps in and sucks the life out of you 

your dreams once colourful 

now, empty and invalid 

Save yourself from the misery 

of loving people that don't reciprocate;

situations that leave you emotionally drained. 

save yourself from the anger and frustration 

the doubt and confusion 

of loving too soon, too passionately 

save yourself from the meltdowns.
